Security
For obvious safety reasons, please inform a member of staff at the beginning of the session, if anyone other than yourself is to collect
your child. If not we will request identification and authorisation before your child is allowed to leave the premises.
Medication
If your child is taking medication please inform staff. All medicines should be given to a member of staff and not left in your child`s
bags. Medicine should be clearly labelled with your child`s name and the time the medicine is given. Please insist on signing the medicine
book.
Clothing and Personal Property
Please mark your entire child`s clothing and other personal property with their name. You are asked to provide the following for your
child`s use whilst at the nursery:
A coat for outdoor play, gloves and hat, Suncream and sun hat for hot weather
Nappies and barrier cream if required
A spare set of clothing
Please do not allow your child to bring sweets, toys or money to nursery. We cannot accept responsibility for accidents caused by
the wearing of inappropriate jewellery.
Clothes
Please bring a spare set of clothes to help us keep your baby/toddler fresh and clean throughout the day.
Illness
We cannot accept children in the nursery who are suffering from any infectious diseases. If your child has a rash, discharge from eyes or nose,
sickness or diarrhoea, please keep them at home until the symptoms have cleared or until medical advice has been sought. Please contact the nursery
for advice on individual cases.
If a child becomes sick whilst at nursery, you will be asked to collect them as soon as possible.
If your child should come into contact with any infectious disease, please inform the nursery so that we can make other parents aware.
We will reserve the right to take your child to hospital in an emergency.
If you do not contact us when your child is off for any length of time we may very well contact you to check that all is well.
